DESCRIPTION:Llamado a presentar trabajos para edición especial de Citizen Science: Theory and Practice que tratará de las «Contribuciones de la ciencia ciudadana a los ODS» y se publicará en la primavera de 2023. \nThis Special Collection aims to bring together papers that offer insights into the contributions of citizen science to the monitoring\, implementation\, and achievement of the SDGs as well as other international agreements and frameworks. Research has already been conducted in this field\, but we are particularly interested in contributions critically analyzing the monitoring and implementation processes of such frameworks through the lens of citizen science data and impact. We would also welcome papers on aspects such as ethical considerations\, how citizen science can play a role in the post-2030 agenda\, and how citizen science can be used to translate science into community understanding\, policy\, and action for achieving the SDGs and international development goals\, among other relevant topics.

DESCRIPTION:La Agencia Nacional de Investigación e Innovación (ANII) invita a las empresas privadas de Uruguay que lleven a cabo actividades de investigación y desarrollo a optar a los beneficios fiscales disponibles. \nCon esta línea podrás acceder a un crédito fiscal por los gastos que realiza tu empresa en actividades de Investigación y Desarrollo. \nLos beneficios consisten en un crédito fiscal de una parte del presupuesto reconocible del proyecto\, con un tope de 35% de los gastos admitidos o un 45% si se trata de un proyecto en participen universidades o centros tecnológicos\, además de la empresa solicitante. \nLas fechas de cierre para la evaluación de proyectos por parte del Comité de Evaluación y Seguimiento son: \n\n30 de mayo.\n30 de julio.\n30 de septiembre.\n30 de noviembre.\n\n

SUMMARY:International Fellowships for urban scholars from the Global South
DESCRIPTION:Applications are invited to the USF’s International Fellowships for urban scholars from the Global South. Each award will cover the cost of a sabbatical period at a university of the candidate’s choice\, worldwide\, for the purpose of writing-up the candidate’s existing research findings in the form of publishable articles and/or a book. The proposed work should be completed under the guidance of a chosen mentor in the candidate’s field of study. Funding is available for a period ranging between 3-9 months\, and eligible research may cover any theme pertinent to a better understanding of urban realities in the Global South.
